Automatic task to shut down system every day on specific time. Very usefull for offices etc in case employers will forgot to shut it down after work.

  1. Click "Create Basic Task" in Task Scheduler

  2. Under "Create Basic Task Wizard" window that pops up, type some name and description about that task. Something basic like "PC Shutdown." task wizard

  3. Click Next.

  4. On Task Trigger choose the frequency you want to run that script. In that example we want it everyday so we chose 'daily'.task-trigger

  5. Set Time on Daily window.

  6. Click Next

  7. Choose "Start a Program"

  8. Click Next

  9.  On the "Start a Program" screen, type "C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe" in the "Program/script" text field, in the Add arguments text field type -s -f -t 0.Shutdown Final

  10. Click "Next."

  11. Confirm your settings on the Summary screen and click "Finish."
